Despite the fact that I've never seen the entire show (and... most likely never will) I still have a lot of affection for it. Even if it takes itself wayyy to seriously.
This show is a masterpiece in every sense of the word. If one things for sure, its that it will stay in the Otaku collective conscience for a while as a clasic. Everything from Jet's philosophical, quotable ramblings to Spikes overall coolness and "Margaritaville-esque" approach to life. We ain't even touching the music, which seems to carry the action and emotions throughout the show so perfectly... or is it the other way around...
